Happy independence day weekend everyone.

 

I have a few things that we want to share with you.

 

To begin with, make sure that you go to our Soundcloud page for Local Spotlight. We will take a artist and play one of their artists front to back, no editing. I want you to hear those albums as they were meant to be heard.

 

Also I want to introduce you to On Tour. Every week throughout August and September, we will go around the state and play some of the best music that New York State has to offer. And I want you to be a part of it. Go to any of our social media outlets and here on the site and let me know who you want to hear. Or go to the fun section of this site for more details.

Speaking of From The Garage, we will be celebrating our 200th episode on December 10. And our 8th Anniversary show of Compact Rock will air the week before, on December 3. More details to come.

January 2026 ~

​Happy New Year. We start this year with a few exciting things. We have our annual Back2Front album. This year, we are featuring the Rotting Pinata album from Sponge. We play it from the last track to the first track on the album. That can be found on SoundCloud.

 

Speaking to SoundCloud, we also debuted our Local Spotlight series. We will take a local artist from New York State, and play an entire album from front to back, unedited and wild. They will be every other Friday at 12 Noon. For the debut episode, we will do the first band that I played on Compact Rock. That is Candid Daydream and their Crooked Things. In two weeks, we will have another album for you. The link for the show will be in the picture of the album in the Fun section of the site ng up. Then in the new year we have a lot going on.

2026 will be a big year, with shows dedicated to all Hip-Hop and R&B, all covers, all soundtracks, all female artists, all acoustic artists and possibly a show of all live tracks.

FALL 2025 ~

​This fall has been quite busy in the world of Compact Rock and From The Garage. We had our 6'th anniversary show December 4. We had our yearly all covers show on Thanksgiving. We have our Christmas show coming up. Then in the new year we have a lot going on.

 

In January, we have our annual Back2Front show. This year it will drop New Year's Day at noon on Soundcloud exclusively. This year, we are playing the Rotting Pinata show from Sponge! More details on that on our social medias. That same day, we debut our Top 20 of '25 for From The Garage. Our top 20 local releases of the year. THEN, we debut Local Spotlight the next day at 12. We are going to be playing full albums, EP's and everything else from your favorite local artist. More there on our social media as well.
